Local Estate Liquidation Platform - Auction Ninja is basically a software platform that aids local estate liquidators by allowing them to put up for auction their items in their estate sales and then garner bids and bring in customers who want to buy them. The highest bidder of each item will be the winner and will then be able to pick up that winning item locally. This is great resource for companies that conduct local estate sales and want to get more money on some or all of the items they want to sell in the estate.

National Customers - Those same estate sale companies can also sell the items they list to national (non local customers.). However, (speaking from our own experience) most are not set up quite as well to ship to buyers as other sellers are on Ebay or on Live Auctioneers. On Ebay, you buy and the seller ships - very easy! On Live Auctioneers, you buy and they give you several choices for pack and ship companies to pick up your item and then ship it to you, a little more complicated, with more steps, but can be doable. Unfortunately, with Auction Ninja it is more like the Wild West when it comes to getting your item shipped by a local estate sale company. You may have to call or email them and then the owner will work out terms of shipment with you and there is no set method. In our opinion is it a difficult process to buy nationally from AuctionNinja.com. Perhaps that will change in the future, but as of this writing it is tougher to buy on this platform than on others.

Conclusion: If you find a local estate sale liquidator who is running a local auction with items you want and make bids, this is an absolute great way to grab up some good bargains. However, if you are a national buyer, you better make sure you get an awfully good deal to make it worth all the extra navigating it might take to evenutally get your packaged shipped to you.
